What You Need to Know About AES67

Marty Sacks has the Facts

Marty Sacks

So you’ve been hearing about AES67, but you're not quite sure what it is. Sure, it’s a new AoIP standard ratified by the AES (Audio Engineering Society) last year. But what’s it all about?

Sure… interoperability. But what does that really mean? And what are manufacturers of broadcast audio gear doing to comply?

The Telos Alliance was first to develop AoIP technology for broadcast, and our founder, Steve Church, was a longtime promoter of the concept of interoperability. In keeping with his vision, we were heavily involved in the development of the AES67 standard. So if you’re looking for more details, we’re here to help.

Our Marty Sacks gives a little background, and provides some key resources related to this important standard.
