Website Preserves U.S. Broadcast History

Site Creator Broadcasts Details, Tales of Personal Broadcast Career

David GleasonAs broadcast technology has evolved and our industry has changed, bits of history from earlier periods in radio and TV have been lost. But one man has made it his mission to save as much of it as possible.

In doing so, David Gleason has developed a virtual library of radio and TV publications from the '20s through the '80s - and more - all on one website.

Gleason talks about the contents of the site, and some of the painstaking work that goes into maintaining this wealth of broadcast history. And we get a little insight into his own impressive broadcast history.
