Telos Alliance founder Steve Church long had a vision of interoperability for broadcast gear, and when Axia Audio developed AoIP technology a decade ago, it was just the beginning.
Steve's vision of the future of broadcast technology was advanced even further in 2013 with the ratification of the AES67 standard. AES67 (formerly X192) was advanced for the purpose of developing an interoperable mode of transport for high-performance audio over IP networks.
It took some time, but as the technology that makes broadcast tech interoperability possible continues to prolifierate, the industry has embraced AES67, and is working hard to make interoperability a reality. As a major player in the development of this standard, The Telos Alliance is proud to continue the work of our founder and see his vision brought to fruition.
