Museum Tells Tale of U.S. Broadcast History

Founder / Director Tells of Museum's Rough Beginnings

MBC_logo

The history of broadcasting here in the U.S. is quite a fascinating tale. The origins of radio date back nearly a century; TV, nearly three quarters of a century.

Over the years, the industry has experienced vast changes in the technology used to send and receive broadcast transmissions, as well as programming. The goal of the Museum of Broadcast Communications in Chicago is to provide a home for the history and memorabilia of our industry.

Here at The Telos Alliance, we're proud to play our part... and proud to give back to the MBC. Tom Vernon gives us the back story on the museum, and Founder & Director Bruce DuMont.
