We've featured a variety of technology museums in our newsletters and blogs in the past, but this may be one of the more interesting vintage tech  showcases in (magnetically) recorded history.

The Museum of Magnetic Sound Recording (MOMSA) in Austin, Texas was the brainchild of Martin Theophilus, who has spent much of his career as a recording engineer.

Tom Vernon recorded some of the fascinating audio gear on display upon a recent visit, and provides the playback for all us audio nerds.
