2015 was an amazing NAB for The Telos Alliance! In addition to celebrating our 30th Anniversary, our booth was full of clients new and old.
For those who joined us… Thank You! It’s always great to connect with friends from across the industry.
For those that couldn’t be there, we’re sorry we missed you. To give you an idea of what it was like in our booth this year, Kirk Harnack provided a comprehensive walk-through! Take a look to see all the shiny new goodies on display.
The Big Three-Oh!
It was 1984 when Steve Church, a broadcast engineer and talk-show host sick to death of the lousy sound of the broadcast phone systems then available, decided to apply the young field of Digital Signal Processing to solve the problem. His solution was good – so good, in fact, that other engineers started asking him to build them one, too. He did, and in 1985 Telos Systems (using the Greek word for “purpose”) was born. A couple of years later, Frank Foti – a like-minded broadcast innovator with a passion for DSP – joined forces with Steve; the rest, as they say, is history.
This year, we celebrate 30 years of achievement and innovation by the brands and people of The Telos Alliance. From that first Telos 10 to the groundbreaking Omnia.fm, the invention of Axia® Livewire® AoIP, the industry-dominating Linear Acoustic® AERO™ family and, now, the electrifying 25-Seven Voltair™, the company that’s come to be known as The Telos Alliance has pursued its purpose with a single-minded vengeance: to give broadcasters the best tools they’ve ever used.
To help underscore these three decades of innovation, a new logo and slogan, “The Telos Alliance: Create. Communicate. Connect.” debuted at NAB 2015, encapsulating the goals, passion and commitment that drives not only us, but our clients.
We can’t help feeling that Steve approves.
