Museum Hearkens back to Atomic Age

National Atomic Testing Museum

Headed to Las Vegas for NAB next month? Looking for somewhere to spend your spare time without burning a hole in your pocket at the casinos? Vegas offers a surprising array of unique attractions beyond the lights of the strip, entertainment venues and fancy restaurants... you just have to look for 'em.

One such locale is the National Atomic Testing Museum - just by the name alone, you can quickly decipher that this is not your run of the mill museum. In the first in a series of pieces on other things to do in Las Vegas, our Jim Kuzman takes us on a tour of the museum where visitors learn what it was like to live in an era of fear and fallout shelters.

It's the Bomb!

NASH Studio 3: Under Construction
Classic Clock Radio Review

NASHStudio3

After building two beautiful radio studios at the Cumulus NASH facility in Nashville, a third studio is now under construction. This one is primarily for interviews - both radio and TV - with music stars and newsmakers. Kirk Harnack guides us on a video tour of the attractive digs.

Sonyclockradio

In his latest 'Found in the Attic' piece, Tom Vernon provides a review of two classic clock radio models from the glory days of the once-ubiquitous device. You may be surprised how far back clock radio tech goes. Don't hit the snooze bar on this one!
