When the AES67 standard for Audio over IP was published in 2013, the tale of the standard's development took a backseat. Understandably. Ultimately, it's the technology and its potential impact on the industry that folks wanted to know about.

But what went into this process? How did the broadcast industry come to a place where an interoperability standard was deemed necessary?

While several entities were involved, The Telos Alliance made significant contributions in research, and played an integral role in moving the concept of an interoperability standard forward.
