TornadoSevere weather can strike anywhere, at any time. But at this time of year, we need to be prepared even more. The same holds true for broadcasters. Spring can be beautiful, but severe weather outbreaks can cause conditions to turn dangerous in a flash. Thunderstorms, tornadoes, floods, landslides and wildfires can threaten the public's safety, and broadcasters need to ensure they remain on the air - or are back on the air as quickly as possible - to provide the latest weather conditions and other pertinent information.
