What's All the Fuss Over Livewire+?

Your Complete Resource for All Things Livewire

Livewire-Plus-AES67

Twelve years ago, Axia Audio invented Audio over IP (AoIP), doing what no one had done before: create professional radio gear that networks using standard Ethernet, for use in digital audio routing, mixing, and distribution systems for broadcast and other pro-audio applications.

We recently introduced the next generation of AoIP technology - a patented protocol that enables high-reliability, low-delay, uncompressed digital audio over Ethernet, built in compliance with the AES67 standard. In this issue of Direct Current, the company who invented AoIP delves a little deeper into the latest in this essential broadcast technology: Livewire+.
