Streaming Audio is a segment of the broadcast / audio industries that continues to grow in popularity. It's almost become, well... mainstream.

All joking aside, many broadcasters stream their stations online, but a number of those in the realm of streaming audio do not hail from a traditional broadcast background.

So what things should streamers pay close attention to that they might not have top of mind when first starting out? That can be a tough question to answer.

ProSTREAM developer Ioan Rus says his first question for streamers is always, “What are you trying to do?” No matter what the answer, streamers need to craft a unique sound.
